Voice Magazine will host its 3rd annual All About Women Expo & Craft Show Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 at Viking Hall Civic Center in Bristol, Tenn.

This show, which benefits the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities, brings together 65 businesses from near and far to exhibit and sell their goods, products, and services.

Tickets for the event are $4 at the door and $3 for a pre-event ticket. Tickets may be purchased at the Speedway Children's Charities office (in the main parking lot at Bristol Motor Speedway). Other locations selling tickets include In Style Designs and Voice magazine (Johnson City), Attic Treasures and Barefoot Chameleon (Kingsport) and Contours Express (Bristol, Tenn.). Tickets also may be purchased online at womensexpo.voicemagazineforwomen.com.

"We are excited about working with the local Speedway Children's Charities again," said Jessee. "All pre-event ticket proceeds are donated to this charity. We are hoping for a good total of pre-event tickets sold this year and the support has been great!"

Activities during the event include the Mutt Strutt Doggie Fashion Show on Saturday for dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes wearing the latest in doggie fashion design. Sponsored by Pet Partners, treats and goodies will be given out to all the participants. Judges from Dreams & Wishes, a no-kill animal rescue organization will select a winner for the ‘Dog-gone Loveable' and a winner for the ‘Overall Favorite' and the Grand Prize Winner, ‘I Got It All.'

"Last year's event was such a success we had to bring the event back this year,' according to Jessee. "We saw large dogs to small dogs and all were very comfortable in walking out on the stage and proudly wearing their fashions."

In addition to information on women's health, skin care applications, wellness seminars, Chefs from the Southeast Culinary & Hospitality College will have cooking demonstrations and will sell food during the event.

"We are very pleased to have Chef Richard and his chefs join us this year, and it will be great to have an eating area for our exhibitors and guests," said Jessee.

Other sponsors of the event are The Peak Radio, 104.9 and Chrysalis of Bristol, Tenn.

Other activities include belly dancing performances, D J Music, and ladies fashions presented by two local ladies shops: Kathy's from Abingdon, VA and Pretty Girl Station from Chilhowie, VA. One of the surprise guest appearances will be made by the magazine's mascot, Voila Voice, who will arrive on a motor scooter, entertaining the crowd, giving away discount coupons and announcing door prizes. One of the Grand Prizes is a $200 Shopping Spree provided from the Bristol Mall.

The crowd gets involved early in the event. The first 25 attendees will receive a free tote bag filled with goodies from local merchants. Also, the attendees vote for the ‘Attendees Choice Award' for the best booth. The winning booth gets a ‘free' ad in Voice Magazine.

It is a fun weekend for everyone with shopping and entertainment. The All About Women Expo & Craft Show in Bristol, Tenn. at Viking Hall is the place to be on April 18 and April 19, 2009.
