BRISTOL, T.N. (Aug. 10, 2007) Tri-Cities Golf Course will once again host the Baker Construction Services Ninth Annual Speedway Children's Charities Golf Tournament Monday, Aug. 20. The most popular week NASCAR has to offer kicks off on Monday, Aug. 20 with the Baker Construction Services Ninth Annual Speedway Children's Charities Golf Tournament at Tri-Cities Golf Course in Blountville, Tenn.

The annual golf tournament, which has become one of the week's most successful off-track events, precedes three nights of spectacular racing at Bristol Motor Speedway. The O'Reilly 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Race and the Food City 150 presented by Naturally Fresh Hooter's Pro Cup event take place on Wednesday, Aug. 22, followed by the Food City 250 Busch Series race on Friday night and the sold-out Sharpie 500 is Saturday evening.

The tournament, which features a four-person captain's choice format, will begin with an 11 a.m. luncheon provided by Outback, followed by a noon shotgun start. A Chevrolet Colorado with a six-month lease, a $10,000 cash prize and a Stainless Steel Men's Submariner Rolex from Bowman Jewelers are all on the table for anyone with a hole in one at one of the three designated holes. At the completion of play golfers will be treated to dinner provided by Fatz Cafe, awards and a raffle with door prizes.

Companies interested in sponsoring a hole can do so for $450. This includes the company's sign on the tee or hole, one player, cart and green fee (additional players are $75 each, up to three) and a goody bag, along with lunch, dinner and beverages.

Individuals who would like to participate in the tournament may sign up for $150. This includes one player with cart and green fees, as well as a goody bag, lunch, dinner and beverages.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Bristol chapter of Speedway Children's Charities, which has raised more than $3 million in the past decade for children's agencies in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
